Bow and crossbow: history of weapons

In the modern world, everyone can choose a hobby and sport according to their capabilities and wishes. As a result of the freedom of choice, there is now an increased tendency to engage in various fights and shooting, especially with old mechanical devices such as crossbows and bows.

Archery men in ancient times foraged for food and protected the camps. The weapon was quite primitive: a curved spruce branch and a tightly stretched string. Arrows were also made of wood with sharpened ends, and later had metal tips. Continue reading →
